I am thinking about buying a new 4x4x4, since the one I have right now is not suitable for speedcubing. Pieces often just fly out, which really annoys me. Anyone knows a better brand for speedcubing on a 4x4x4?

Have you tried using google? I'm sure you'll get THOUSANDS of results.

Eastsheen... Mefferts... personally I prefer Eastsheen, but others disagree with me.

eastsheens are lovely for the first 100 solves, then they become so loose that they constantly lock up and in my case, fell apart in my hand when solving!

^...Mefferts is far superior to Eastsheen which is great to start but quickly turns bad. I dropped serious time when I switched to Mefferts from Eastsheen and hundred of solves later it is still getting better.
