Hey, I just signed up here, after being bugged by a friend, so...yeah
I've been cubing since August-September, I think. Can't quite remember.
My first cube was a really nice, loose rubik's brand cube that broke after a month or so, and then I got another and that one was really tight. It broke after a week or less (thankfully xD). After that, my dad went on a trip to Malaysia and brought home a Dian Sheng 3x3 and a 4x4. I used those, but eventually wanted to try new cubes. I got my friend to order me another Dian Sheng 3x3 and a Cube4You 3x3.
I also found a shop in town that sells puzzles and stuff, so I got a megaminx, pyraminx, two bandage cubes (I'm converting one into a normal 3x3, just so I have a black cube...I'm weird like that), a cheap, extended 3x3x5 knockoff and a V-Cube 7.
The C4U is my main cube, even though it pops (I never get around to tightening it...), but I actually use either of the Dian Sheng 3x3s more, because I don't want to take the C4U out of the house...mostly because it could pop and I could lose a piece, but also because I don't want to drop it and break it, or drop it in a puddle or something.
I mainly use Fridrich, but I like learning new methods. I have some PLLs memorized, but I haven't even started with OLLs, so right now I use a simplified version, unless I get a case I know. My times are usually around 40-50 seconds. Something below 40 is very rare, and only happens if I get lucky during a solve. I can solve with one hand in about 3-4 minutes. I can't solve blind, but I'm sure I could if I practiced a bit.
I can solve the pyraminx and megaminx, no problem. Bandage cube is a bit harder, but I can get everything except the last three pieces. The only thing I can't do on my 7x7 is edge parity.
When solving one handed, I go about the same speed with each hand, but mostly because I just don't know how to do finger tricks one handed.
