Well, I've learnt Old pochmann but when it comes to memorization I screw everything up. Its either that or I'm screwing everything up during the set up moves. What are your tips on practising.
This belongs in the "Blindfold Cubing" area.
So, you've learned Old Pochmann.
Give an example solve using this scramble: B2 D B2 D' F2 D' F2 U2 B2 D2 R2 U' F2 R' U L2 B D2 U L2 B D' U2
Memorize only the edges. Solve them. Memorize only the corners. Solve them.
If you were able to solve the cube like this, then you aren't fixing parity.
I recommend you memorize the cube, and write down your memo on a piece of paper (or type it in Notepad, etc.) Solve with your eyes open, following the memo, to see what you are messing up.
