Well. Haven’t updated this in a while.

Last comp was almost two weeks ago. I got a 10.99 PR2 average in finals and an 11.26 PR2 average in round 1 (+2 out of 10.84). Choked 2 Finals lol

Haven’t practiced due to state testing.

next comp is in three weeks and has 2x2 but I forgor how to onelook so relearning rn
 
forgot to mention i got a rlly nice 2.61 PR2 average in 2x2 round 2.

Okay. Been to THREE comps since I updated this so let's recap!!

Comp 1: UCSD for Hemophilia 2023 (6/3)

3x3:
R1: 8.64 PR Single, 10.41 PR Average. (10.93 CURSE GONE!!!!!!!!!!)
R2: 10.77 PR average. Shows that i'm definitely sub-11 in comp now lol

2x2:
R1 was just bad LOL
Finals: 1.65 PR2 Single, +2'ed a 1.21 because I'm simply built different, +2'd out of podium and got 4th. hooray.

Megaminx: Trash average, Solve 4 was overall PB single (1:28) and last solve was 1:15 DNF which would have been overall PB again but my super loose Dayan twisted a corner. yay.

5x5: L event, L results. Don't even care.

OH: 16 single, and 2 20 averages! Both PR!

Very happy with my results for 3x3 and OH! Disappointed about 2x2 though :(

Comp 2: Agoura Cubing 2023 (6/17)

3x3: Bad. Just overall trash.

2x2: 2.48 PR2 in round 1 (+2 out of 2.28 PR because i'm cracked) and 2.65 2nd place in finals!! Video on my channel :)

Clock: DNF average because my clock is way too fast, 11 single which is mid. proud to scramble brendyn's 2.81 NAR tho

Pyra: mis-onelooked a 7-mover where i should have gotten a 1.5, got a 5 instead.

Comp 3: Poway Summer Cubing 2023 (6/18) (IM ORGANIZING)

3x3: 10.11 PR Average
Skewb: 2.48 PR Single
Square-1: Tied 22.07 PR Single
4x4: 52 PR Single

Nothing else notable happened other than me locking up out of a mid-1 on skewb and getting a 2.48.

lost my PR streak, got 4th in 2x2 thanks to two mis-onelooks, and almost fell asleep during 3x3 finals. one heck of a comp if you ask me
 
I'm back.

Bit of an update here. School has really gotten ahead of me, as I'm taking a ton of extra courses. I have been to some comps and broken some PRs, so I'll overview that. To those of you who care, read on. If you don't care, then okay.

I've been to four competitions since I last updated here.

At the first one (9/2), I broke my year-long 2x2 PR of 2.39. Twice. Round 1, 2.37 and Finals, 2.33. No other notable results there, and no podium unfortunately.

(9/30) I managed to win 2x2 with a 2.7x average and got podiums in Team-BLD (3rd) and Mystery Event (2nd). For context, this was an unofficial events comp.

(10/7) I finally broke through my hardest challenge to date - the sub-10 barrier. After being stuck at 10.11 for months, I finally got a lovely 9.57 average, which was brilliant.

(10/28) Further improved my 9.57 to a 9.46, and won Team-BLD. Very nice comp as well.

Now, addressing the elephant in the room. I've kinda been inactive.
To prove my point, there are people with 2.5x the posts and have been here for nine months, while I've been here for close to 4 years and had 1400. Holy crap I've been here a while.

I've been insanely inactive and I'm not sure what my plans are for this forum. I'll definitely still be somewhat active, I'm working on a project for YT so I'll check now and then for that. But I feel like the time I'm spending on the forum can be used for something more important, like studying. I definitely haven't enjoyed myself for the past three months (I've done 0 timed solves in the last month, and I have a comp in 36 hours. I've done un-timed fun solves, but no serious sit-down session). I'll check back on post on the forum now and then, and I'll definitely try and cube a little more. However, if you see that I'm posting less and less, it's probably because of this. If any of you feel like you're experiencing the same thing, then please let me know lol

I have a comp in 36 hours. I'm going to practice tomorrow, but I'm busy finishing homework right now lol. See you.. soon (don't hold me to this)
