Okay what i'm about to say is EXTREMELY stupid. So i was stupid enough to open up my eastsheen...right after i lubricated it just to see what it was like inside and as a result, the whole thing fell apart since it was so slippery. I read the instructions on how to put it back together and all, but i can't twist the screws of the caps so it's been extremely hard getting those inner side blocks in while also getting them in with the inner blocks. Then when i finally assemble it, i can't turn some faces/sides so my question is, what should i do? Should i keep trying to unscrew all the centers since they aren't budging and what am i doing wrong when i do my last layer because i notice usually thats the layer that can't turn after i finish. Thanks for your help! Sorry about sounding so stupid. -_-
Oh and i did check out http://cubefreak.hp.infoseek.co.jp/eastsheen444.html

I have reassembled an Eastsheen 4x4 3 times. I built half of the core by placing the spindle (with the caps still screwed on) through a CD on cup, like the website. I build half of the core with the inner side blocks and inner border blocks by placing them between the caps three peices at a time (two inner sides around one border.) I then place the first two layer pieces, centers an all. Flip it over and complete the rest of the core. Make a third layer and then finish the last layer in blocks, starting with a corner, two edges and a center. Get everything except one edge piece in. Take off the center cap that sits next to the last edge slot, and then force the edge in, while prying the cube apart around it. Add the last center and you are done.

In my experience, if you can't turn a face, it means you got a piece in wrong. Some of those internal pieces can flip on you a little after you put them in - so you can put it in correctly and yet it winds up wrong because it slips a little. So what you need to do is take apart the face that won't turn and try again. It could take several tries, but you should eventually be able to get it. Odds are unscrewing the centers won't help at all - you just have to get the pieces in right.

If you have the screws set too loose, you'll probably never get it to work because the pieces will keep slipping out of place. So make sure the screws are reasonably tight (but not too tight!).

Yea that's the problem, i can't even move the screws. I even brought it to school today to see if other people could and tehy couldn't either -_- my screws are REALLY tight.

So, did YOU screw them in that tight? If so, then yeah, maybe that's the problem. If they were just already that way, then that shouldn't be a problem at all - you should be able to ignore them and the problem is how you're assembling it. But I'm assuming the problem is that you screwed them in that tight? How'd you manage to tighten them so much you can't loosen them?

I tried to tighten my screws to make mine less loose, and yeah, it got so I couldn't really turn it. And when I loosened it a little so I could turn it, the cube was then even looser than before. So I have one Eastsheen 4x4x4 that's pretty worthless now. But at least it's still functional.

No it came that way. Got it back, figured out a quick way to do it fully functional now :) thanks for the help.
