QOTD: How do you feel about you elementary/middle/high school/college/home school? (Like peers, classes, etc)
I'm Dutch, so there is another school system. I have a bit more than three years left until I graduate. I find a lot of hings interesting at school. My school has about 1300 students so it's always noisy and there are just too much people in the hallways and on the stairs. I just don't like the people that much. What I do like about the school that's for people from about age 12 to 18 (11 to 17 for me) is that there are different levels of education. For most of my life in school I didn't like school, because it was too boring and easy for me. Now the education level is actually a bit more challenging for me.
Anways, the school system sucks. There is too little freedom. For example: I need to choose which subjects I want to take lessons in for the next three years. I like chemistry and physics, but because of the school system I'm obliged to also take biology lessons, which I hate.

QOTD: Who is your role model? (does not have to be cubing related)

My parents. My father is an international chess master and international chess arbiter (I'm the later as well), and my mom is a cook. I'm 47, in case anyone is wondering. PS: I think that's my first time answering your QOTD

Thanks for answering :) When you really think about it your parents do a lot for you. They raise you for 18 years and do their best to give you good advice.

yes i will be much happ.
I almost quit school when I was in second year of high school
I was very depressed and getting up and going to school every day was a nightmare. I had no friends and spent my time alone in the interval
then I failed the year and didn't want to go to school anymore
but my mom convinced me that I had to keep trying. so she went to another school and registered me to a program where I could do the third year at the morning and the failed subjects of the second year at the afternoon.
I started to study real hard. I still had no friends at the new school but I was determined to pass
then the year ended and I passed the second and third year subjects with good grades
I'm very proud of what my mom did to me and that allowed me to get a good internship afterwards that demanded high school conclusion
please guys don't quit school even if it's hard.
