So I've been trying to learn cross+1 as I average 11 and I don't think I can get sub 10 without it. I've found it very hard to learn, as it usually takes me 2 minutes to plan cross+1. Any tips on learning it? Also, I'm color neutral.

I just practiced a lot and eventually got my inspection down to sub 15.

I'm very interested in this as well. I inspect for a very long time to get cross plus 1, and usually I may still make an error if executing while not looking. I know practice has a lot to do with that, but I'm looking for maybe a new way of thinking about that. My approach has been, and I'm sure it's not best, is: I inspect and get the 4 edges of cross, and look ahead to my first pair. Sometimes its easy, sometimes not so much. I've been doing more CN solves, so it's much easier to memorize my cross, but I'm bad (or at least not good yet) at memorizing 6 pieces rather than just the 4 edges and "looking ahead" on that +1. I'm open to suggestions and tips. Especially new ways of visualizing it. I haven't practiced memorizing the 6 pieces enough to see a better time than, executing 4 pieces while looking ahead.

Thank you all for any input

find a corresponding edge+corner and watch as they move, in an untimed slow solve, the more you do this the easier it will become to see where the pieces will go

I have made a similar thread, but no one replied to it. However, I started planning cross+1 ~3-4 weeks ago or something like that when I averaged low 15. (I average high 13s now). All I can say is, honestly, practice. First, make sure you have your full cross planned before starting to predict where the pieces will end up. Then pick a corner first and run the cross moves in your head so as to see where the corner will end up. Then do the same for the edge. Sometimes (for me) I might forget where the corner and edge were going to be, so make sure you “memorize” where they’ll end up. Sorry for not much help, but I thought I’d just share how I’ve been doing it.
