already/still this fast

Nice list , is there a list with the women times?

I am still getting faster, I am now more than twice as fast as 25 years ago, still improving, With current method I should be able to get a 16.5 sec average. The only effect that I noticewhen you are above 40 , the learning takes longer. But still I break my PR records, next goal is to break my blindfold, 5x5 and 4x4 times.

Ugh... used a slightly outdated database copy from before last weekend. Sorry.
Garghh! How do I get a copy of the publically available portion of the database without loading and parsing all the competition results pages?

Also, can you do this per puzzle (which should be shorter, right)? I especially want to see BLD...

So is the peak point (well for minimun time) age is around 21-22 years old?

How do you get that? From one data point? By that logic, you should be able to be fast again around 40.

It would be interesting to take people's age (at the time of the solve), throw out the extremes, and see how that works out. Therefore, you could see the average time for a 24 year old. I'm guessing you'd see a noticeable drop at 22/23 when people are getting out of college and getting full-time jobs.

Hi Stefan,

Nice list, and I'm proud being on it, at least for the time being.
But the list suggests age and speed are related.
However I assume there isn't any relationship between speed and ages between, let's say, 12 and 50 years old.
Can you proof any relationship from the wca-database statistically?
(NB. watch out, I'll be critical, I studied math 20 years ago)

Have fun

Gus
