How do all-rounder manage exhaustion during comps, and how do they practice? I’m not planning to be an all-rounder, but I want to be able to do more than three events. At my recent comp, I only did four events and felt tired already. Does it just take getting used to? Any answer is appreciated.

I think the best way to practice multiple events is to practice only 2-3 events at once, like this week practice/learn for 2-3 events seriously, then the next week practice/learn for other events and so on
This is my thinking too. You can only keep a high level of performance with a few events at a time. Luke Garrett isn't always practicing every event, if you look at his results in different events you can notice peaks in performance that probably correlate to when he practiced. Like right now he has been working on Pyraminx and you can noticed an influx of low 2 and even a few sub 2 averages while he was getting more high 2 and 3 averages a few months back.
For me I like to have one event that is my main event no matter what, so OH for me, and have some secondary main events that I practice a lot when I want to improve, so right now 2,3,4, and every other event that I don't do often until I decide to switch out my secondary events. This helps me to not get overwhelmed but also to have a better ability to improve in more events. This also helps to get you better official results if you don't get many comps you should practice the events at a competition as soon as you learn about them so you can have as much practice time as you can get, and you can switch them up for every new comp.

As for being able to do more events and not get tired, it is definitely practice. Though you can only handle so much and you might not be able to physically or mentally handle doing so many events. For me I definitely get very tired after a long comp where I do every event, usually around 6 events, and depending on how many finals you make you might not have a lot of down-time in between each event which can drain your energy even faster.

I asked Tommy Cherry this question a few years ago. He said this exact thing: practice 2-3 events for a few weeks, switch to another few events, etc. When you are getting ready to compete, only practice what you care about. For example: I'm going to compete in CW Odds, which has 3, 5, 7, Mega, OH and 3x3 BLD. I'll mainly practice 3x3, 5x5, 7x7 and Mega while making sure I can get decent results for OH and BLD. What will most likely happen though is I'm going to main 5x5 and 7x7 and not even care about the other events lol.
