Algs to rotate centers?

I just starting cubing 2-4 months ago, i don't understand the cube type you solve. Could you explain more briefly. Thanks

They're talking about a cube with a picture on it instead of colors. So this guy is asking how to rotate the centers in a clockwise - counter-clockwise direction so the picture is correct.

Plus, U perm rotates the R center.

This surely depends on what U-perm alg is performed  But the fact remains that any purely center turning alg has the net effect of 0 or 2 modulo 4. 1 or 3 remains impossible. A proof of this is not so hard, but is beside the point ;-)

- Per

The 2gen one.
There is no "the."
Consider U2 R U R' U R' U' R2 U' R' U R' U R. No net effect on centers.

I mean, do a T-perm twice.

Not do 2 different T-perms.

Sorry, bad wording.
Could you at least specify which T-perm, and what it does for you?

Anyhow, I use (RUR'U)*5

Actually, you can adjust some side centers by 90 degrees after completing the first 2 layers if you wish (or to fix a mistake) and before doing the top layer. Use a slice move (M) to bring the center piece and connected bottom edge to the top, then U and M'. Now the edge is separated from the center piece. Now do U' M to hide the edge piece to the back face, and you have complete freedom to turn the U face the way you wish to orient that center piece. Then unhide the edge, join them, and put them back in with M'. Hope this makes sense.
