Hello all!
I am Jeffrey and I am eighteen years old. I live in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, and I like cubing very much. It's my favourite hobby. I should note, however, that I do not speedsolve cubes. I know this is a forum dedicated to speedsolving cubes, but there are no other cube forums out there with a vast community like this, so I joined this forum. I hope non-speedcubers are welcome here too!
I used to be a speedcuber back in the day, but I suddenly got a severe illness that is hard to get rid off. Certain types of food and beverages can make the illness worse, and so does working myself into a lather, which is what I always do when I have to better myself, which is the case with speedcubing, so I was kind of forced to stop speedcubing but I discovered that normal solving has its own benefits too.
Solving the cube without timing myself puts me into a restful state time and time again, it's something that is hard to describe but it boils down to the fact that I feel very calm by just solving the cube without worrying about times or anything else.
A little about what I've done so far: Up until now, I've been solving the Pocket Cube, the regular Rubik's cube, the Rubik's Revenge cube, the Rubik's professor cube and the Megaminx. In the future, I'm planning to buy a Square-1 and 2, a Pyraminx, and a V-Cube 6 and 7, but that's for the future. For now, I'm enjoying the cubes I already have.
I hope to have a great time here!
