[Unofficial] A fun challenge

For those (like me) who are bugged by challenges where you actually have to watch the video to find out what it is, this one is this:

Using a given scramble (in the video, or the YouTube page), scramble two cubes; solve one using your normal method, solve the second using ZZ, then add the two times and post a video response.

His total is 1:12.14.

Here's a fun one for all you BLD guys:
1) scramble a cube, use normal speedsolving inspection, and then do a sighted solve with your BLD method.
2) use the same scramble, memorize the cube as normal, and then time your execution only, without looking at the cube.
Which one do you think will be faster?

I'll answer first, then try it. I think #2 will be way faster for me; I'm terrible at doing sighted solves with my BLD method. I'll use the scramble from the video; I'll update after I try it.

Edit:
1) 48.17
2) 41.93

Interesting. #1 went better than I thought, since I was easily able to memorize all the corners completely and get a hint on the start of edges during inspection. I had trouble doing parity sighted, though - it would have been better if I had closed my eyes for that. I get confused when I watch myself do parity. #2 was helped also by the fact that I had already done all the moves once before; I think I optimized out a couple of moves along the way.

Most definitely trying this after homework load dies down. I have a feeling sighted will be better for me.
