I dont get it, YJ has made a 9x9 and 11x11. So why cant they just make the 8x8 and 10x10. Is it really that hard to make an 8x8 compared to making a 9x9. Its just a 9x9 without the middle layers using the v-cube design that they already have used it seems like it wouldnt be to difficult to make the 8x8.(Probulaly wrong) Are they planing on making those cubes.
V-cubes says they havent even made the protottypes for there big cubes. I dont want to wait till 2014 when they finaly come out.

Step 1 - Give V-Cube company money since they do not have funding
Step 2 - Wait for them to make cubes
Step 3 - ?????
Step 4 - Profit

And I'm pretty sure you don't want a clicky mech 10x10 and 8x8

From what I could tell, they had trouble with the 6x6 because adding an adjustable core made it fall apart. That's why pretty much all of the chinese 6x6's suck. So if they have to make an 8x8/10x10, I imagine it would be a lot more difficult. I could be wrong, this is just what I heard.

Step 5 - Train monkeys to joust.

How would making a core adjustable make it fall apart? Isn't it just minus rivet and add screws and maybe better springs? Forgive me, since I'm not an expert at the hardware like Pi.
Where did you get this valuble information?!
Wikipedia. Duh

odd numbered cubes have solid cores that the pieces rotate around, because they have a center piece on each side
even numbered cubes do not, so the core has to be adjustable, making the cube less stable
