7x7: Edge Parity?

This is my first attempt at solving the cube and I'm wondering if this is possible?

Keep in mind that I never had a 4x4 or 5x5 prior to getting the 7x7 so I'm somewhat clueless at parities ;x Any suggestions, hints on how to get the cross?

Was the cube scrambled when you recieved it?

Or did you scramble it yourself? In that case, has it been apart? If not, yes.

Looks like it. The middle edges and the corners always act like a 3x3, so if you "ignore" the pieces around it, you can see it as a 3x3. As this is impossible on a 3x3, as is it on a 7x7.

It did break apart the first day I got it. So if this case is impossible, I guess I have to take it apart and reassemble it? Damn @@;

Yes, that's most certainly the case, you must've put it together the wrong way, OLL parity is not possible on a 7x7 in this form.

Remember, you don't need to take it apart fully, just take out one section of the cube and flip one middle edge. Though, be careful not to mess up the corners.

I know, that was dumb of me @@; but at least I managed to solve that much of the cube on my own for the past 4 days before seeking for help on the parity ^^;
