7-Simul Memo Trainer - cafox2003 fork

Hey everyone!

I've been learning 7-Simul and I wanted to use a trainer to practice my memo. Tommy Cherry's tutorial links to Joshua Marriott's trainer, and I found this to be a pretty good trainer. However, I found it confusing that the trainer expects you to memo with black upside down, and execute with white right side up - this is opposite from how Tommy's tutorial shows it. Maybe it's just a skill issue on my part, but I wanted to have the trainer behave exactly as Tommy's video shows it. So, I created a fork that adds this as an option called "execute on black". I also added a few other things, like an option to swap the letters in the 2nd pair, and some more shortcuts.

Just wanted to share this in case anyone else wanted this functionality. Would love to get this merged into Joshua's trainer, but idk how to contact him.

Joshua just had his first comp since late 2023 today, so I think he’s finally getting back into cubing. I don't have any of his contact info unfortunately.

I've just learned 7 Simul and this tool looks amazing. My current memo time is 40s so this site will be great for helping me get quicker.
My wee issue is I learned it from Tommy's latest video (link) which might be different from previous versions as you only have to memorise 5 letters, and I'm thinking the way of calculating them might be different. Would it be possible to adapt the tool to be able to also use this memo system?

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see your message earlier. You've probably figured this out by now, but you can just ignore the 3rd letter and the rest of the memo should be the same. There's multiple ways you can calculate memo, so as long as execution is the same, it shouldn't matter.
