I'm still a beginner with the 4x4, and a lot of the time I end up getting my centers in the wrong sides. If I have all of my centers solved, but say, I need to swap 2 opposite sides, how can I do this?
Since you're probably not going to solve the whole cube before switching centers (byu's alg does just those centers) the code Rw2 U2 D2 Rw2 will do it for you.
Is 4x4 center solving intuitive or is there some sort of pro algorithm? I'm pretty slow and I'm wondering if it's just that I know no algorithms or it's because I'm just slow (I'm expecting the latter though).
I usually just do r2 D2 U2 r2 like toast when I screw up.

I don't use any different algorithms really besides parities... and this if it ever happens. And not_kevin showed that those don't need to be slice moves, they can be wide Rw2 turns... they're usually easier.
