Hi there,

at an age of 40 years, I ordered an thunderclap v2 because it was reduced at price and I thought, "man, i never solved it, it´s cheap, so let´s try it :-) "

The last time I had a Rubiks Cube (the original one, slow, clicky and loud) in my hand was at an age from about 10. That´s 3 decades ago, and i was never able to solve it. Thx to youtube and some tutorials, I made it :-)

Now, after about a month, I solve the cube several times a day and got to a time at slow 2 minutes. Yeah, that´s slow for you, I know, but, after solving it first with some lbls and various algs, I developed to CFOP/2lookOLL2lookPLL. My wife also solves the cube, but got stuck at the 3rd layer by the lbl, but I´m pretty impressed, by her performance, especially when you compare it to my practice hours. With my hints at the algs and positioning, she solves it. Just needs more practice.

Last week, the WarriorW and the Valk3 came from zcube. That was an awesome order. Fast, cheap!, tracking, and an incredible better performance in speed, glide, and feeling, in regard to the thunderclap. The thunderclap now feels like strengthtraining, in comparison to the WarriorW and Valk3

I printed out some pdfs for OLL and PLL from Badmephisto, and the algs are getting good into my muscle memory. The thing that slows me down is the "make a decision" and lookahead. At the time oll and pll starts, it just speedens up, but at the cross/F2l the minutes go away.....

I´m happy to got this brilliant tool for my brain and hands and wish you all a merry christmas and happy new year. Thx for this forum and all the youtubers/writers out there for their work.

Regards
Joerg
