I think that's vastly underestimating the scramble time AND inspection time. It doesn't take me 4 seconds to scramble AND inspect...
It takes roughly 25 seconds to scramble+inspect+solve...
But yeah it took me probably around three and a bit days of pure cubing in a month- not a lot when it comes down to it actually. As for completing the marathon in 10 days, it'd be 1000 solves a day. Each takes 25s so therefore almost 7 hours a day straight of just non stop cubing. It'd take a massive amount of dedication but I may give it a go if I go mad and also don't want to go out for the whole day.
