I cannot know for sure but probably that this isn't his full speed...

I for example can have quite high success rates (95+ %) if I do ~55s solves but it drops significantly if I aim for sub-45 (something like ~70%) or sub-40 (around 50-60%) solves.

What's the secret to your accuracy!?

Thanks! I'm not sure if I know the answer for that, but if I had to guess... I would say that what helped me the most was doing corners-only averages every day for a few weeks.
Since I memo edges/corners and then solve corners/edges, I realized that if I could get the corners stage to become more like an unconscious process (as if it was so natural for you that you don't even have to think about it while you are doing it), I would be able to be constantly reviewing my edges memorization while I'm doing the corners... I don't know if that made sense lol, but I believe that's kinda what happens now in my solves.

Yeah, definitely not full speed there, specially for memo. My full speed memo is somewhere between 11s and 15s and it leads to a much worse accuracy. In this session my average memo was like 20s (I took a few more seconds in the edges part).
