HI
I cant seem to understand or find the different cases it takes me about 30 seconds to recognize each case does any one have any advice???

if you only use 3-cycles for PLL its always quite difficult to divide all the cases into those. I think there is no better advise to give then practising or to learn all PLLs.
I think you should choose the second option. As I see you are already using 2-step OLL, so learning the PLLs is your next step anyway. You will see, it is less work as it looks at the beginning and your recognition delay will decrease quickly.

I assume 30 seconds is an exageration?

Recognizing the PLL's is mentioned well at http://www.cubefreak.net/PLL.html. Try putting the cube in the various forms and you will be able to pick out distinguishing features, particularly which edge-corner pairs are matched. I admit, I am only getting used to PLLs too. I just finished memorizing them (except one or 2 G's) and I am awful slow with some of them for the moment. But I can recognize the pattern type within 2 or 3 seconds or so. Ha, then I need like 3 more seconds to recall the sequence from my brain, and 10 seconds to execute it. Being 53 years old does not help. Eventually I won't have to think and my fingers will do it for me. I hope.

all you you have to do is if the corner that is facing you if it doesn't have a colour that is on the right hand side then it is one algorithms if it does have a colour that is on the right hand side you execute the other and for edges if you are using the ones from cubezone if one of the one peice goes to the opposite side then it is one algorithm and if it isn't then execute the other and if you are using

and I am assuming you are using these cases from cubewhiz.com
or
cubezone.be either way they work.

good luck
