So this weekend I wanted to do 1000 2x2 solves, but I found at that it taks way too much time, so I only got 250.

The average was 4.57

best solve of 2.03 and worst 7.88. best average 4.08:
03.02, 03.81, 04.55, 05.02, (05.56), 05.31, 02.88, (02.84), 04.65, 03.52, 03.25, 04.84

I am quite happy with this. I'm going to try to continue this until 1000. I am not going to stop practicing this until I get the NAR!

I, like Erik, will use different methods depending on the scramble. Mostly Guimond, with look ahead to step 2, but sometimes Ortega or OFOTA or LBL. I'm still only %40 done with OFOtA, haven't learned any algs in a while

Nice average!

But what if, for example:

1. You get the NAR in the first round.
2. Someone else (Mitchell perhaps?) gets the NAR next round?

:)

Well Tim, if I got it in the first round and then you or Mitchell or someone else got it in the final, then I would continue practicing and making sure I do an avg of 12 everyday where all 12 are better than that record :)

I have no plans of any competitions at the moment. The one in Colorado I can't go to because of band. Prcineton, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to. I really would like to go to another Minnesota Open or have a competition in Chicago.

..Or go to the Indiana Open!:)

I need to get started on that...

I hope. I e-mailed Jake Rueth and he said he's willing to help. I can probably get the competition at my school but I need a delegate and some help in organizing and probably help with making a website because I have no idea how to do that.

Also, how do I get a competition started? Do I just e-mail Tyson and ask him?

I would also be williing to be a judge.
