[Official] 2011 Hackley Summer Competition - Personal Failure

[Julian]

Urgh, painful to watch

[DaKrazedKyubizt]

If it makes you feel any better, your 5x5 times are about 25-33% faster than mine. I don't even touch the 6x6 or 7x7. You're way faster than me on those.

[qqwref]

Ouch I remember a few of these from the competition - the 7x7x7 solve is especially painful.

[cityzach]

this is absolutely horrible to watch. sorry u failed so hard

[uberCuber]

I feel your pain...or maybe I was laughing while I was watching it. Sorry

[chicken9290]

...sucks but im almost sure your times will continue to get better as you increase the amount of competitions you do

[mrjames113083]

I think I'm going to focus my energy on big cubes for the next couple of months. Any ideas for advanced edge pairing on 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7?

[uberCuber]

Assuming you already do freeslice, you don't need anything else (aside from better lookahead and turning, a.k.a. practice) to get really good times.

[dimwmuni]

I was expecting the 7x7 to explode but what happened still sucked.

Sort of painful to watch..
Funny thing, seems like Im faster than you at 3x3, 4x4 and 6x6 but slower at 2x2, 5x5 and 7x7..

[cubeflip]

I know a guy who missed the 4x4 cutoff by .01.... uhh that's like a slap in the face. ;(

[Jungleterrain]

This is sad to watch... Do you get a little nervous in competitions?

[EnterPseudonym]

That's not horrible. At the Kansas Cube Off, I was practicing magic (getting better times than those that won), but when I went to perform, I failed miserably.

Oh no magic. One event. What a disaster. Noticed he failed across the board.

Also, at the start of your video, did qq judge one of your solves? He looks so different to the other videos I've seen him in. Looks younger

[tx789]

How do you manage to fail at every event you do

Haha. Yeah, I'm there at around :16.
