2007 World Championship preliminary results

Is there any way of knowing what's going on at the moment in Budapest? Does anybody have any info on preliminary results of any of the events?

Well, I qualified for the 4x4x4 first round

I was the 7th in 8 who qualified...

and, yeah, Matyas did those 15 cubes...man, how can he do that?! I tried 3 and got just 1

I know Erik got 3/4, just 3 wrongly-oriented corners in the wrong one...damn, that must hurt

Rowe Hessler got 1/10, Tyson got 1/2 (3 unoriented corners), I think Leyan got both wrong...don't know about Bernett or John Louis, just that they tried 3 and 10, respectively

and Lukasz Cialon got a new WR for 2x2x2 average, with 3.91 O.o

I wanted competition, but that 1:34 is a little out there... How nice was that scramble, Kai?

I should really practice a lot to get my PB below 1:27...

Edit: Actually, what I'm really trying to say is that I'm going down. Kai can stay super-90 as long as he wants

Well you can check the times on the WC 2007 website and then just figure out when that is in your time zone.

matyas kuti is blowing away the competition, hes top 3 in all of his events i think, top 5 for sure. his was half the time of everyones in 4x4 BLD. and under a second for magic, thats nuts. hes still in second tho cuz he got a 2.03. anyway go harris chan! haha go canada! so that would be harris chan...anyway yea.

Yes, I was expecting crazy low times for all the 3x3x3 competitions, regular and OH. But WC is a lot of stress to perform fast under.

The competition was great fun! Meeting all those great new cubers!!!!!!

Got a bit bad luck 0.02 from getting to the finals. 0.05 to get 3rd in 2x2, like 0.5 sec to be 3rd in 5x5 and 3 misoriented corners on multiple blindfold but.... IT WAS FUN!
I miss you already Frank, Adam, Chris, Andrew, Harris and everyone else (sorry if I didn't name you but that'd take too long to type )
