More clearly defined as: within a given 1LLL alg set (one that end with a solved state and deal with permutation and orientation of LL pieces simultaneously), what do the shortest algs (arbitrarily defined as below the 33th percentile in movecount; need a better definition) have in common?
What...
One of the coolest cubing related videos I've seen. There will probably be more videos about this(as said in the video) so I'm waiting for those as well.
This may be a somewhat weird and vague question, but what how many groups are there that an 3x3 cube be reduced to which could be exploited or manipulated in a solve- in any discipline. For example an oh method may want to reduce the cube into the <r,u> group.
Methods that already use this...
I am new to cubing in general. Most of the cubes I own solve like a 3 x 3 or something pretty similar. The only cube I have that has a fairly different structure is the Skewb. I did use a tutorial to start solving the 3 x 3 puzzles. After that, I started making my own algorithms in the form of...
Yesterday some question ocurred to me, but as the Rubik's group is too big, I think that the fellows who work with computational group theory can help me with that.
Suppose we have a 3x3x3 original rubiks cube, with white on top, yellow on bottom.
Then we will write the color of all stickers in...
