    What is a cube with pieces blacked out called?

    I've seen some demonstrators using these on YouTube; They are mostly black cubes with only focal colored pieces used to practice certain cases. What do you call this? A test cube? A practice cube? Would one just make one from two cubes and removing stickers from one, and swapping the pieces...
