What should i do to fix cube

I think it’s definitely worth upgrading your cube rather than trying to fix it because thats what you’ll have to do eventually anyway

Help on choosing my next 3x3

Mine was a TV3 flagship and after a while there was a crack in the plastic where the screw sits so the screw kept getting loose every few solves.

Help on choosing my next 3x3

I thought they fixed the issue with the TV3. Mine broke a few months after I got it a few years ago but it was a really good cube. Im pretty sure there is also a replacement core available from the cubicle Edit: the replacement core is either discontinued or they’re not sure when they’re...

    Mind Wandering During Solves

I actually listen to things like science and aviation documentaries (not the ones that require you to really look at the video) during my solves. Probably not the best way to improve but it’s a decent way to learn things and be productive. But this also doesn’t seem to affect my solve times...

My Speedstacks G5 timer is not resetting, and it's on 4 pad mode for some reason (and it can't get off 4 pad either)???

I had a similar problem on my qiyi timer but I opened it up and soldered a replacement button at school which fixed the problem. Im not sure how it would work on a speedstacks tho.

What are the odds of this happening?

And @LukeKing67 said he averaged 8 so getting two same 4s consecutively is definitely a much lower probability than him getting 2 same 8s

What are the odds of this happening?

If you wanted to do this the most accurate way you would first calculate the probability of each solve time occurring then calculate the probability of that solve time happening twice in a row. What I put is just giving each solve a equal possibility of happening which in reality is not very...

What are the odds of this happening?

What I originally put was for if you got solves that were usually within 4 seconds of each other (say you get between 1-5s or 8-12s) but if most solves were within 2 seconds the probability would go down even more (1/2000)

What are the odds of this happening?

But if most solves are within 4 seconds of each other its still correct
  14. Rossy

What are the odds of this happening?

But that is giving every possible number in that range an equal chance which is not very accurate as you’re probably more likely to get a 3 or 4 than a 1

What are the odds of this happening?

Assuming you have a pretty large range of around 4 seconds, the number of possible outcomes is 4000 ( because of 4x1000 for the 3 decimal places). The probability is then 1/4000 because the first time can be anything and the second time has a 1/4000 chance of matching the first time. So the...
