Increasing the WCA 2x2 minimum move count?

I had hoped it would be changed to 5 moves years ago but thats not feasible anymore IMO. 6 might have made sense if it was set at the beginning, but doesnt make sense at this point. Definitely against any rankings resets Anything higher would eliminate too many cube states. The majority of...

    2x2 Smart Cube Support

I'm trying to make a 2x2 timer that connects with your bluetooth cube for detailed reconstructions and have it alert you with better solutions. I have an existing website for the suggestion part so I have a good starting point once I actually get a connection. Have had issues securely...

Is this a subset of the LS / 1LLS method? I didn't see a description but from the images it seems like it would be

    2x2 Smart Cube Support

I've been hoping to work on this project that involves connection with a smart 2x2. Have any smart 2x2's been connected with cstimer or other sites yet? I've seen some resources/packages regarding connecting with 3x3 smart cube, but would love to know if any 2x2 support is out there besides the...

    [Help Thread] 2x2 Discussion

Finish CLL and then take a break to become very comfortable with it. After that, you can learn eg-1 and do the same. Learning both at the same time will slow down your progress. You can learn anti-cll after both of those, this part will be much quicker to learn

    [Help Thread] 2x2 Discussion

At your speed learn anti-cll, as it takes only a days work to learn, and provides some good benefit. Eg-2 Is absolutely something you should learn, just only when you are at least sub 2.5. Its much better to practice the skills you already know before moving on

    2x2 theory for cbl

Actually nobody is making an effort to learn any sizable chunk of OO. There's a bit of a disconnect between what top solvers and the rest of the community with that understanding. The top solvers know tons of different algs and advanced methods, and on certain scrambles they find creative face...

    2x2 theory for cbl

OO is not a method that you can learn. Its mostly just a term for whats currently believed to be the fastest solution for a scramble

    2x2 theory for cbl

If CBL was fully developed, this would just be a subset of the algs. It would already be divided this way, so you can pick to only learn CLL cases as you asked

[Help Thread] How Should I warm up before a cubing session?

Many people do some big cube solves to warm up. It keeps your hands more active than having a bunch of breaks in between your 3x3 solves

(DNF) 0.54 Yiheng Wang 2×2 single

He did complete a full turn unfortunately, which is clear given the slowed down clips people have made. Accidental turns under 45 degrees are not a move, so you can readjust. However, anything close to that barrier, especially if intentional, can lead to penalties depending on the evidence, so...

Moves in parentheses in the solutions list means they are cancelled. So those moves are not included when scoring the algorithm

    2x2 Solution Finder (two-tools.com)

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my new site today, two-tools.com You can give it any 2x2 scramble and it will find solutions that humans would do, showing you the solutions it thinks will be fastest. You can specify which methods you want to use, from CLL all they way up to LS. Other settings...

[Help Thread] How do I one look multiple solutions on 2x2

Its ok to have to re-do the earlier solutions you one-looked. So you can one-look solution A, then solution B. At that point, you should have an idea of how good solution A was. If it was better than B, you can go back and confirm the solution, this time, one-looking should take less time since...

    Optimal TCLL face

TCLL actually has lower move count on average than CLL because there are more ways to construct a valid TCLL layer than a CLL layer (Any corner can be twisted, and in either direction)
