    Lubing...again.

Ok, so I'll just pop out a piece and lube it that way. Should I only do this once?

    Lubing...again.

As some of you may know, I lubed my cube before. I thought it worked well, until other kids at my school lubed their cubes too... It was amazing! They were all so good! And yet my, though smooth, was very sticky and locked up often. I don't know what I did wrong. One kid suggested that I...

    Is my Pyraminx broken?

But now it just isn't...impressive to solve in front of people. I guess I'm out of a pyraminx now. :\

    Is my Pyraminx broken?

(This isn't mine, but that's what it looks like. Hey everyone. I've got a Pyraminx. One day, some kid had the bright idea to twist a corner and try to pull it off. "Stop it!" I say. He says "You just don't want me to take it apart." I reply with "I don't really care, but do it the CORRECT...

    [Help Thread] Algorithm Memorization Discussion

I read the alg off a paper and do that about 50 times. Then, when I don't look at the paper, my hands remember the rest. :)

I'm thinking about lubing my cube...

I wouldn't, it may damage it, though I'm not positive on that. Unless you're looking for a super-loose cube, you just need to lube the edge and corner pieces, not the core.

    A fast, easy F2l Solve?

Here is the basic idea: You get the entire first layer except one corner. Then, USING THAT OPEN SPACE, you insert the 2nd layer edges. You twist the the first layer side you did to move that open corner around to open 2nd layer spots, and insert the 2nd layer edges with simple 3-move...

I'm thinking about lubing my cube...

At the time I lubed my cube, I jumped from 1:45 in time to about 1:30. It really helped after I broke it in for an hour (It was a little sticky at first) Silicone spray worked great though. :) Graphite powder does as well, but that only lasts for a few hours.

    Keyhole Method/Working Corner method

It isn't too hard, I found it out on my own in about 15 minutes. All you need is R U R' and F' U' F, as said before.

    Customizing Your Algorithms

    The last-layer corner algorithm, R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2, I actually do somewhat like a l' U l' F2 x' l F' R' B2 R2.

Tips for speeding up my cube solving

Oh, I forgot to mention, lube your cube. It helps improve your time by about 10 seconds or so. Get silicone spray, and take a look at this guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0rjg7ckq-0 (This was quite a hassle though. Some people suggested just popping out a piece, spraying some in...
