Why do you hate all methods but CFOP so much?

Yet somehow CFOP has better official records?

Here we go again... (I really think you dont need to hear this for the thirteith time Owen.) CFOP has more users and has existed for longer and thus has better results becuase it has more oppurtunities to do so. Roux has good records too, theres an eleven y/o in third for average who uses Roux, and Feliks has been cubing as long as Sean has been alive, and yet Sean is only .5 seconds away from Feliks.

I made a very long response to the posts thus far, but it couldn't fit in the character limit. I posted it here if you want to see it: https://www.speedsolving.com/threads/my-cubing-journey.76609/

The posts I didn't respond to either I agreed with or didn't have anything to say to(like I didn't respond to Owen about "haha prove it" since there's nothing to say and I agree with him)

Lol you didn't understand a thing of my portuguese welcoming apart from ZZ so you reacted with angry lol.

I actually do. You were saying that he should consider other methods like ZZ. At least that is what it looked like to me. I reacted with angry because you and others are always trying to convince people to give up their current method to switch to ZZ or Roux.

were just trying to make sure they try other methods so they dont get bored of CFOP and not know there are alternatives that are also fast.

*sigh* I don't want to have to keep saying this, especially by hijacking another person's profile post, but we aren't trying to convince you all that you should switch from CFOP to Roux/ZZ/etc - we're just saying that CFOP isn't definitively the "best" method and so when giving method advice to beginners, it isn't right to just tell them "use CFOP", we as a community should be advocating method exploration.

I think I am having a lot less 20s. At first I would get a 20 every once in a while, it seemed like if I started out bad, the rest of the solve was also bad. F2L recognition is definitely getting better, I can take advantage of easy scrambles now without worrying too much about messing up.

I really think if I post something it will get moved to the Color Neutral Transition thread, I may as well try and hope it doesn't.

Maybe call it "The Quest for full Color Neutrality on 3x3", so you can say it's a quest thread. And then let it die, like all the others

It seems all of my good times are with green cross, I don't feel any more comfortable with it but my times seem better. Orange seems really hard and I have lots of pauses.
