Hi! I'm JimmyJonLXXXVII (not my actual name, my actual name is ***** ***** *******) and I like cubing, math, science, physics, and cubing (again). I am diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, intense anxiety, and mild depression. I suffer from intense Emetophobia (the fear of throwing up, mentioning it, talking about it, seeing it, or participating in the act of it), and mild Agoraphobia (the fear of large crowded spaces in which it is difficult to escape). I am really smart for my age and perform well in school, in fact, I enjoy school. I feel more comfortable at school than I do at home I don't know why, I just do. I enjoy the learning aspect and the aspect of being away from home (however, the social aspect scares me to death). I am very paranoid over almost everything, but especially my social image. I am incredibly skilled with technology and enjoy coding Excel and creating transitions on PowerPoint, but this is hindered by a 30 minute technology limit per day.
Speaking of technology, I don’t have a phone. I don’t want a phone and I feel like a phone would hinder academic progress and success, as well as interfere with cubing and baseball. In fact, I don’t like many things that other people find enjoyable. I’ll go into depth later, but I don’t go out to recess or go to the cafeteria for lunch, I don’t have any interest in dating and I really don’t enjoy being surrounded by tons of people (cubing comps are fine bc ppl there are awesome). It’s kind of intimidating, but I don’t have a problem with public speaking, so that’s interesting. Fun fact: the number one fear in the world is public speaking, the #2 is death, so if you are at a funeral, the majority of people would rather be in the box than up there saying the eulogy.
My favorite color is blue, possibly from depression, but either way, blue. My favorite type of music is rap / hip-hop (specifically Eminem, his lyrics are weirdly comforting to me). School wise, my favorite subject is math, but I love science and am specifically interested in physics and engineering. In my free time, I enjoy speedcubing *duh* and I play travel baseball (since i was 2).
Socially, I have a moderately low number of friends, but I tend to be ungrateful for the friends I have, so thanks friends! I had one cubing friend (before I joined here), but he is fading away from the cubing world, and that's kinda sad

. Most of my friends, however, happen to be female (I am male), not because I am in relationships with them (I'm not, and probably never will), I just don't fit in with the other males, it's really awkward.
At school though, I am really active. I don't go out to recess (I think recess is a waste of time, given that I'm at school to learn and I go excercise after school either way) or go to the cafeteria for lunch, I just stay in one of my teacher's room and do homework. Other than academics, I have been elected onto the Student Council twice (out of both times I ran) and I was voted Secretary this year! I participate in our school newspaper club, the drama club (huge commitment for the show at end of year), and I want to create a cubing club (but that's not happening

). Oh yeah, and I also do tours around the school for open houses, but thats not really important so yeah, um, I don't know why I put that in here, but I think it's interesting and you awesome people might want to know, so yeah.
Cubing wise, although I hate travel, I really want to go to Worlds in 2027, but my parents said it was too expensive, so I'm trying to raise the $25K to get plane tickets, hotels, registration, ubers, a possible rental car, and to bribe my family to come watch. The messed up part is that my parents want to go on a similar trip (without a cubing competition) to Italy and they have no problem with it, so I don't like that. anyway, hope to see you all there, and if not, at least in 2029.
I am open to listening to anyone in need of someone to talk to, and am glad to help out, reach out if you need guidance on cubing, math homework, or anything.
Oh yeah, I love the Big Bang Theory TV Show, so you'll see random quotes around my profile, one of my favorites from Sheldon Cooper:
"One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad." ~Sheldon Cooper - The Big Bang Theory
Also. I talk way too much

. Like. Way too much. More than this. I could go on for hours.
