Finally got around to setting up my MGC Squan (Tightened it a bunch and added Adheron heavy and Adheron normal) so I'm going to be continuing my race with you to sub-20 Square-1. First I need to relearn my EO's and then I'm going to do some Parities and EP's. I think I'll stick with Vandenbergh but I might dabble with Lin because PLL looks cool.
How do you set up your MGC 7x7 and 4x4? I tried putting Weight 1 and DNM into my 7x7, and Gravitas, Dignitas, and DNM-37 into my 4x4. The 7x7 felt slow and sluggish with the lubes inside the cube, and my 4x4 feels a bit slow, but has a speed and smoothness I can tolerate.
Cubable please explain to me why you think Hoya is a good method for 4x4 over other one like Yau. I main Hoya for 5x5 and 6x6 so you can't claim that I don't know anything about it or just don't like. I'm not really a stan for any methods (other than Roux for OH, which I ironically don't use) so I'm wondering if there is an actual reason for your disagreement or if you're just really biased into thinking Hoya is OO.
