Announcing LetsCube! A real-time racing website

Hey! I've been working on this real time multiplayer timer much like TwistTheWeb and cubingtime. I've noticed fundamental problems with both of these, namely with TTW that it doesn't exist anymore. Because of this, I've developed my own website following lots of best practices. Most...

Sec. 9m (maximum number of rounds) should be changed

4 actually feels like enough. Time spent doing a 5th round could easily be replaced with letting more people in for 2nd and semis. The motto of the WCA is more people, not more rounds. 4 rounds seems good for an 1000 person comp. A comp with a 1000 people is already going to have most of all the...

    KinchComps

    KinchComps

I made a webstite: http://kinchcomps.surge.sh So Kit likes to do kinch rankings for comps and apparently did it all manually...so I made a website for him and now all of you guys can use it too for your comps! This generates kinch rankings for a competition all based off of first place for...

The New Method / Substep / Concept Idea Thread

I took some time to get started a ZZ-tripod spreadsheet that comes with NLS sheet and an excerpt of tripod zbll so people who don't know zbll (me) don't have to go scavenging for algs. here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uZkgPNUNwMcyMN0xJtV8m7bxzhr1fQ1l9pYmdlzTeSk/edit?usp=sharing...

Block Keeper: Cross platform desktop timer

This is pretty cool. If you keep adding features that cstimer has, I'll probably switch. Feature request: can you export the sessions to an editable json so say someone like me can import their cstimer times and/or render them into graphs.

Add methods in the WCA profiles

So I was thinking recently about another project to work on and I came back to this after proposing something. I'd make a website for profiles. People could write down various bits of info. They'd log in with their wca db account and then from there, edit their profile. Information that could...

    Q-M's LL skip method

You're still having to do all the parts to LL: co, cp, eo, ep, but you do them all separately in the wrong parts of the solve. You're just moving the parts of LL into F2L. Would you consider Roux a LL skip method? It does exactly this but with fewer algs and better flow overall.

    Q-M's LL skip method

neither is doing a million algs so that you don't have to do zbll/pll You're also very specific about the order of f2l pairs which is bad. Good methods should give you lots of freedom.
