    Is Yiheng Ending CFOP?

Fair point and agreed that ZBLS to ZBLL has less skips but that's because at it's heart the main difference between the ZBLS/ZBLL & CFOP is that with CFOP you're thinking in terms of 4 Steps: Cross, F2L, OLL, & PLL, if you get lucky, either a OLL or PLL Skip. ZBLS/ZBLL once you get past the...

    Is Yiheng Ending CFOP?

Yiheng now has 3x3 Average and Single records. I was wondering. His speed, efficiency and lookahead push the limits of what can be done with CFOP. Will it take a ZB user to eventually catch up to and possibly beat him being there are advantages to ZBLS/ZBLL once you get past the astounding...

[Help Thread] ZBLL Discussion and Help

I want to learn full ZB. I’ve been through a lot of SS ZB topics but none really answer my question. After learning my OLLs/PLLs I’ve always been curious about ZBLS to ZBLL. Why? Standard CFOP is a Method, ZB is a Language, the sooner you start a new language the better. I would rather challenge...

    Regretting over learning F2L algorithms

I'm willing to bet most of the top Asian Cubers learned their Algs. The advantage? They learn an Alg, see what pieces move with said Alg and what don't. Move on to the next and so on. Doing it this way means learning the most efficient way to do any Alg along with how the other pieces move or...

    Mag Lev Core Lube?

Guys, I want to keep my Mag Lev as slippery as possible so I lube the pieces of the with DNM-37. What lube would you recommend for the core to keep it super slippery? (I know I can't use the DNM-37 on any metal parts because of the 'Water' base). Thanks in advance for any help.

How does Max Park do it?

Guys, as usual thank you so much for saving me from going down a rabbit hole I don't need to. I will continue working on my double flicks!

How does Max Park do it?

Guys, I couldn’t find this in the forum. Max Park using only single flicks not only keeps up with but is one of the worlds fastest cubers. When it comes to OLLs & PLLs? You see the top cubers showing Sub-1 OLLs & PLLs using double flicks all the time. It doesn’t seem possible to to do the same...

    The "Request an Alg" Thread

y2 algs for Y-Perm & V-Perm? Guys, not counting J-Perm's y2 V-Perms I don't see any y2 algs for those 2 algs. I'm ambidextrous and OreKenStra told me it's fine to use it for PLLs as long as you can do the alg faster than U2/U2' with your non dominant hand which I can being any alg I learn I...

Ambidexterity on PLLs & other algs?

OreKehStrah, many thanks, you've helped me more than you know simply by answering the right way i.e. "As long as I do the same fingertricks (I do) and as long as doing the alg is faster than a U2/U2'". The reason reason I used my ambidexterity is because as a beginner working on my U2/U2's It...

Ambidexterity on PLLs & other algs?

    Guys, for my PLLs right now I use Feliks's Cubeskills PLLs. There are 4 PLLs where you would have to do a U2/U2': E-Perm, Jb-Perm, T-Perm, V-Perm & Y-Perm. My solution being I'm easily ambidextrous is: E: x' (L' U L D') (L' U' L D) (L' U' L D') (L' U L D) x Jb: (L' U' L F) (L' U' L U) L F' L2 U...

[Help Thread] F2L Discussion and Help

Actually I use Intuitive. My basic thing was if I figured out a really good fingering or saw someone with a better fingertrick for an alg I use I would usually setup the case, solve it then continue to do the fingering till it gets back to the case I was doing so that I'm continually practicing...

[Help Thread] F2L Discussion and Help

Here's a question I couldn't find. When learning a new F2L alg I would usually set up the case, solve the case, keep cycling the alg until it gets back to the same case. This gives me lots of fingertrick practice for learning something new while doing my F2L. I've wondered when seeing the pros...
