Be sure to check out my YT channel A2Cubed for more updates and thoughts about this cube!

I tried my best, and i know it’s sort of messy right now. I’ll try to figure out a better and more efficient way to do this in the future. But I’m happy with this cube for now.

I completed the cube! After a few hundred solves and some lube, it has become so smooth and flowy. In my opinion, it was worth it to sacrifice an old plastic Dayan for this project!

Through break in time, the cube becomes smooth and feels similar to old Dayan plastic

Here are some pics

I assembled a layer of the cube, and made some adjustments to the pieces to let them glide together properly. So far so good

I did it to some of the gts2m pieces. Waiting a day for it to dry.

Ok I think I’m getting somewhere. I am testing the Dayan coating and it seems to be working. What I did was melt down the Dayan plastic and added a chemical that allowed the plastic to bond to another piece. I successfully Dayan coated a cap of a marker!

Thanks for the support! I’ll make sure to think about the tips you told me when it’s time to record a video.

Hey everyone, I just recently started a cubing YouTube channel. This post is not telling you guys to go and subscribe, but I would like some tips on growing my channel. I have posted a few videos like 3x3 averages, unboxings, and some reviews, but I don't think that will be enough to grow my...

Thanks! I’ll try with my 251, and if it works I’ll get the x v2.

Hey, I am going to buy a Gan x v2. I like everything about it but I’m skeptical about the frosted plastic. I have a Gan 251, and i don’t really like the surface. Is there any way I can polish The surface and make it more grippy?

Thanks for the advice! I successfully boron treated a Gan air sm. It feels nice and it’s my new main.

What happened to the website? I went on a few months ago, but it seems to be down at the moment. Hope it comes back up soon!

I was thinking if I was able to dissolve the old plastic in a chemical, I would be able to coat the old plastic into any piece I want. Does this sound reasonable?
