Get your tin foil hats on, conspiracy theory time! The corner twist design flaw was intentional to prevent them paying money for the WR solve. #MindBlown
Poor him. He'll get it sooner or later. However, it would be nice to see Alex Lau and the Roux method be at the top.
...they've cured pops but now we have twists. Hmph!
Ouch. Great reaction, He didn't even upend the table.
I don't think index fingers would have been my first choice to point at the unsolved cube.
I knew that about his 3x3 but not his 4x4. That's ridiculous.
I just looked at his WCA profile… he's gotten first place in 4 x 4 at every competition he's EVER BEEN TO. And he got first at 3 x 3 every time but Worlds 2011. Feliks, you don't appear to be human.
I've noticed that before. It was absolutely insane the first time I saw it.
In addition to this..
- First in every comp for 5x5 minus worlds 2013
- First in every comp for OH minus worlds 2011
- First in every comp for 6x6 minus worlds 2013
wat

He's going down at US Nats (not me specifically).
The Oceanic region (or Australian as it was called) was really weak. Sure he got WR at 2nd comp in 3x3 which is impressive, but he only needed a 14 average to win that comp.
He's only been to a COUPLE of comps with world class cubers. Giovanni got a 33 4x4 average at a Melbourne comp (less than a second slower than Feliks at that comp), but apart from World's and Thai open, he's had no real 3x3 4x4 5x5 OH competition. His only real chances to not win have been OH at Thai comp once, 4x4 at a Melbourne comp once, 3x3 at a Melbourne comp once (this comp) and WC2011/2013
His ridiculous amount of WRs is far more impressive than his first places.
