[Official] Feliks Zemdegs DNF 3x3x3 single (5.33 with corner twist)

[Cubeologist]

Spoiler: scorecard image

So I am assuming that this happened at the Melbourne Competition. He just recently uploaded this to facebook.

What do you think of this?

I personally want to laugh and cry for him at the same time. He will have it soon enough though. I am predicting he will take it at US Nationals.

Edit: Added video.

The scorecard says Melbourne Winter 2014,so it's the Melbourne competition.
That's so sad,damm cornertwist.
Hopefully he gets such a time next comp.
I just watched cubecomp and saw this was at the final.

Because you can't get 5.33 without getting 5.44 first. It break the OCD rule.

[SolveThatCube]

That sucks hard.

[Faz]

It twisted on the final U'...
Oh well, I guess this somewhat makes up for Mats' +2 last year.

Your average would have been better if you just didn't do the U' and got a +2... Heh.

[Cubeologist]

That video makes it even worse somehow lol. He'll still be the first person to officially break the 5 second barrier I believe.

[Bindedsa]

Your average would have been better if you just didn't do the U' and got a +2... Heh.

But the average would have been bad anyway. I think he is comparing the World Championship to the World record, both of which if not for the unlucky +2/corner twist the other would have.

[Nilsibert]

That's unfortunate :/ But I have to say the reaction was great. Good sport.
