How I should continue?

What is ur BLD solve method anyway?:) There are many...

I just did 60solves in a row and I got average little over 26sec!
I did also a new 10/12 record 24.74sec

I learnt from badmephisto's youtube video, classic pochmann for the solve method. For the memo method I use letter pairs similar to badmephisto's way for the edges, (eg. White/Blue = WB = Web) and use a link/story method

for the corners I assign the corners consonant letters (apart from the buffer) and either A, I or O for each orientation. so to remember 7 corners might be something like Ca Fo Li Bo Ga Mi Po. I've found that recognising pieces is quick this way and doesn't confuse my edges story.

nice speed solves btw

How long have u been blind solving then?:)

I know that technic too...
But Im not using thet method...
Im using OP3 technigue:
http://cubefreak.net/blindfoldcubing_guide.html

I think it is pretty good...memo needs just more practice...
CO I just remember
EO I sign every edge(also corner) using number and I remember which numbers I need to orient
PC normal 3 cycle and parity
PE normal 3 cycle or double 2 trans...

lol i just use butchered visual on the corners and a weird Hex thing for edges.
which is probably why my memo was so awful, and i disliked Bld solving.

3OP is nice, but i'd suggest Classic Pochmann, simply because you only solve one piece at a time, and you dont have to bother with orientation.

Even better, go visual and freestyle commutators:D much faster in the long run...

anyway, tomorrow evening ill do some visual 2x2 BLD. maybe this'll get me into it :)

I hope so and I finally get this!!! After 1 day! Now I know every single stuff about this method :P

In 3 days Im not gonna write it on paper ever again!

How long have u been blind solving then?:)

only 3 weeks now, it took at least a week to get used to doing it all in my head rather than writing it down to memorize it.
What!!!??? 3 weeks!?!?!? I want to be sub 3min in 3 weeks:) IMPOSSIBLE?

At the rate you are improving you could get maybe even sub-2 in 3 weeks.

Sub-2 would be nice but I think it will be too far...we will see :P

Yeah and i spend way too much time with cube:D
My friends abhorn it:p And major tests are coming and army:(

I will continue this for 3 weeks, then back to speed cubing...what do u think, what would be the next good puzzle? 5*5*5, 4*4*4, 2*2*2, one handed?

i <3 4x4.
i got to sub 2:30 2x2-4x4 relay times in less than a fortnight(:D).
2x2 is good fun, learn ortega: you orient the first layer, then the second layer, and permute both layers (its only three algs on top of the normal T and Y - R2, F2, R2, then RU'R, F2, R'UR' and R2 U R2, U D, R2 U R2). Chukk gets sub 6 avgs with it.
OH is also very impressive because not that many people are too good at it. normal 3x3 has a huge amount of competition, but if you can get to sub 30/sub 25, you're doing very, very well for yourself. However, you cannot OH on a Rubiks unless it is unbelievably good. knowing the OLLs becomes very useful here (the difference between a 8s and 12s LL).
dont know anything about 5x5+ :s
megaminxs are also very cool.
but concentrate on BLD for now. it is by far the most impressive type of solving.
good luck :)

very good.

I just did 6 in a row, with hardly any pause in between (is this a good way to practice btw?)

2 out of 6 -- 9:00.83, DNF (7:28.33 2 flipped edges), 8:11.16, DNF (pop), DNF (6:19.08), DNF (9:45.50 4 flipped edges)

I was going for speed hence the DNFs

also it's the first time I've had a pop doing a bld, it's so annoying, all that memo for nothing.

nice :) and you learnt last night?
ive decided your goal is for sub 10 tomorrow ;)
Yeah but I think this it is impossible cause i want that it stays secret!
And my brother live in same house:( It takes out a lot practicing time:(
very good.

I think it is good way to practice!
I like to fail cause it makes me try harder!
I can BLD Edges only, and that's after a week, I am struggling on corners though.
Not bad...after little practice u can do better...

I have done about 50 in a row and I didn't die.
Any BLD practise is good BLD practise. It is good to do some in a row every now and then.

Good luck Cyber to get sub-3. Your next solve will be about 10 mins.
For me 50in row would be like forever! xD

Now my single BLD record 12.22min
bad, bad, bad but maybe today sub 10min;)

I think my brain would fry if I did that many. plus with my times it would take nearly 8 hours, lol.

I find that my first solve of the day is the easiest to memo, and it seems to get harder the more I do.

also, I really don't mind failing. At first I was scared of getting too many failures, but now I'm not bothered, I know I can do it, so a failure just gives me something to work on.

I cannot freakin do BLD to save my life. I've been trying for 3 days now and I cannot BLD anything. I can solve while looking, and even that takes like 5 minutes. I'm actually stuck right at orienting corners in the beginning, because no matter how many times i do it, I cannot get it to work, unless I get easy mirrored sun anti sune cases everywhere. and then I cannot finish corners for some reason, or edges. Something is always there that I don't understand. Talk about mental fry, I'm going to go insane trying to get this.

STOP DOING THE 3x3 THEN!
just apply your method to 2x2 with your eyes open, work on memo'ing the 8 corners, then do it! if you have problems with CO, or just O in general, use old pochmann, as you just concentrate on solving stickers, and its a little easier to memo.
then eventually move on to 3x3 once you can happily sub minute a 2x2.
i know that might take a while, but make the jump as small as possible will means that your first few 3x3 solves will be considerably faster than most peoples.
