Meh. Just wanted a comfortably sub-WR average on cam, since my 6.79 video is almost a year old now. Scrambles were pretty nice; it could have been sub-6 if I wasn't filming.

Sorry for the bad angle/quality, but I can't get anything better with my tablet's camera. You may be able to see what's going on better if you watch on full screen.

EDIT: 5.88 on 4th scramble, you two suck :P
Nice :P How did you solve it? I started so that I did an x2 z' rotation onto the block of 3... (i now see there's a way to use all the lucky cases with an x2 rotation, but I was rubbish and missed that on my attempt :P)

Thanks guys!
Mid-6's (6.4-6.6).

O_____o
-practises forever-

I just don't know how :O

Yeah I missed that as well :P I just did a y2. I think my pin order must be different from yours

You're not too far behind Niko :)

I don't see myself hitting sub-7 global average in a long time, especially with my lack of practice. I do around 40-50 solves prior to clock race + ao12 = 50-60 solves per week (if there are new scrambles, dammit Ryan :p), which is enough to keep me where I'm at, but definitely not enough for any kind of improvement.

Nice solves! You make it look so easy.
Thanks! I'd say all three of you are pretty close!
I don't practice much these days either; I usually do a session of 30-40 solves twice a week.

Here are my reconstructions (didn't bother with the 2nd solve). Yes, I did use Ryan's metric idea. I think the first quantity is more interesting; the second is unlikely to fluctuate much. Perhaps we could sum the two to get some sort of ETPS?

I am glad somebody is using my idea! :D
I've not done enough solves and reconstructions to work out which numbers are most interesting, from what I can guess the first number will vary from solve to solve, and will largely reflect the scramble, and the second one will not change much (as you discovered) and provides a general indication of speed :)
I'm not sure of how to combine the two, I'll give it some thought though.
