[WR] Brandon Harnish 2.19 Skewb single

2.19 Skewb WR single - Brandon Harnish

Good job Ranzha.

Skewb single is going to become exactly like 2x2 singles anyway....they don't mean anything.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that the person known to be the best at Skewb got the WR single.

I didn't say it wasn't impressive, but it is just like the 2x2. Only a really lucky scramble will allow you to beat the WR.

No, you didn't say not impressive.
You said 'don't mean anything'.

Also the 0.96 2x2 WR was held by 2 of the best 2x2 solvers at the time.
Yes it was eventually beaten by a lucky scramble but it stayed with greats for quite a long while.

Except for big cubes, that's pretty much dependent on parity..

Kristopher De Asis managed to take the 5x5 single out of the blue. I generally agree but freak solves do occur.

Depending on what the actual solution is (was it just sledge-type moves?), doing 7+ moves in 2.19 on a stackmat is pretty impressive. Not many people would be able to match this on most 7 move solutions.

Ranzha averages 7. Odder and Hideki Niina average 6.

My signature hasn't been updated in a long time. I was really shaky at the station and just wanted to get the average through, and guess in a way I did =P

Scramble: L R U' L' B U' L' B L U L'
Reconstruction (FCeN):
z // Inspection
L // Petrus Block
R' F' R F' // Welder's Mask
F' R F R' // L4C+CLL

I saw through WM in inspection. For you non-skewb types, imagine that you use CFOP and you got a 3x3 scramble where you saw ahead through first two pairs because cross was really easy, the 3rd and 4th pairs were simple, and the LL was Sune or Fruruf. That's just about what was going on there.

I'm glad Hideki gets to keep the WR average! He really deserves it! =)

I wonder how. I really wonder how...

Oh. Looked at Scramble and saw everything. Seems like didn't I have to learn those algs from Ranzha's site :)
