[NAR] Skewb average 6.21, single 4.31 - Brandon Harnish

Congratulations!
Wow, you picked up the Skewb with one hand at 0:40, surely that's not beneficial for speed? Guess you're 'lucky' you got a POP on that one. :D
Also, short inspection on the second one. After a wow, easy scramble reaction (that's what it was, right?), I would have expected you to look ahead/double check more.

I didn't even notice that I picked up with one hand! Based on the turns I made (Rubik'skewb: l b r') it would make sense to lift the skewb before making the turn, but the approach really seems less than ideal. It still would've been the worst solve of the average, even without the pop and +6 penalty.
For the second one, I saw through to layer and took note of the centres, figuring out the skip while turning. I guess it's know-ahead? The Zb S case really threw me off though; I'm surprised I got sub-6.
