How I should continue?

so essentially its just double extended cross for every solve... i think thats a decent idea, and you should definitely practice it, but if you're aiming for sub-20 asap, then dont just completely switch. your times will drop a lot for a while, so i'd suggest getting to sub-20 before really practising it. also, it may not be the best option all the time. but as something to look for, its nice :)
and im definitely not a trainer. i just like telling people stuff they can do to get better while im not...
PLL time attacks are definitely a good way of working out which PLLs are slowest though. i'd suggest doing one when you read this... you can see whats slow. usually the culprits are Ns, V, F and E.
do you have a DIY yet? the cube you have looks like a rubiks brand. seriously, get an old type (a) (if you haven't) now! and definitely practice fingertricks a LOT more.
& practice look ahead.
blah blah blah.
the usual advice :)
hope you get there soon...

yeah! That´s what Im talking about... Double extended cross :)
Good to hear that it is a good idea...
Does any1 know if some1 have tried it earlier?
or is some1 using it atm?
Or is it MY OWN IDEA? :D That would be great! xD

Yeah, it is rubiks brand and it is not DIY :P
Im just confused cause all websites are selling cubes for dollars. Im using Euros...? What to do? :( Never done web order.

I dont like to do PLL time attack cause I cant remember all situations and I cant identify situations cause cube can be solved too. It is bit confusing for me... I used to do them one by one...is it bad thing?

Anyway here is my steps:
Cross 5.49sec avarage
F2L 16.84sec avarage
2-LLL 13.98 avarage(PLL 4.14 avarage)

I really need to do OLLs faster and especially identify them faster(last learned 4 days ago). Is 7 days enought for identifying them fast? 3 days to go from now...Is it enought? Then it is time to my week 8 video! Im slower than earlier...cause all those confusing OLLs...

And here are my 50 solves today...

Avarage... 32.81

Im again back to start... After learning F2L, OLL and PLL... How shoul I continue...? Anything else than practicing?

after u are able to recognize + perform all oll's well..then go mirror all oll's and pll's ..so u will be able to perform all oll and pll at any angle(no cube rotation)..this will help u improve ur times.. =)

Im gonna do it...sooner or later but it is more useful to learn better F2L first?
3 days to 8week video =]

I use a 2lll and my splits are something like F2l: 22 LL:8

You're LL needs some work I guess. Maybe setup a PLL time attack? I just did that today, my record so far is a min 10. =] not bad for first day.... it's almost 4 TPS. And as far as that method that you were coming up with, it really eliminates the hard part of petrus, flipping bad edges and 2 gen f2l. I bet it would be pretty fast! Especially with your Friedrich experience.

Ok then... If u think that my last layer needs more practice than my F2L, Im gonna work with PLL after learning fast identify for OLLs. That's why my last layer is so slow but still! Im gonna be 2 days off but Im gonna write as fast as possible something here. I would be happy if u will helping me writing something during Im off :D:D:D See ya in 2 days :D:D:D

my pll time attack around 1 min 40 secs ~.~" ARGH !! cross + f2l for me around 15~16 secs average and 2 look oll + 1 look pll around 12 secs

My lord I would kill for your f2l. I'd average like 27, that'd be just dandy, I'm going to practice my f2l now...

me to but more 23-25  i need to practice but im not sure what to

I did like 30 or so just f2l solves in a row and i averaged around like 23. I started off cold though so that's pretty damn good. With my regular ll times those would have all been just around my 30 average.

Im back...finally!
I hate that camp kinda...I LOVE IT but my skills went up just a little bit! SO LITTLE! Next 4 days Im gonna be cubing like crazy... 10+ hours per day!

Thx for a good hints :) Now it is time to make my week 8 video...U cant see high procress :( but u will see my 2-LLL :) Im back to around normal speed in a week! 9th week video gonna be great! I promise!

Im not gonna tell to u my F2L time again atleast a couple of weeks! xD

Anyway I got a new way to practice. Im gonna use it in next week!
Here it comes:
Needed 1 voluntier for scramble, 2 friends who can do fast enought F2L and 1 fast OLL and PLL trainer(me)

And all u know that Im just gonna train OLL and PLL. Those 2 gonna make cross and F2L for me and the last one gonna scramble solved cubes again! It is like circle! :D:D:D
Does it sounds good? :)

He cyber, nice to see you back on the forum:). It is a good idea, the only thing is that you only see the OLL so you miss the step from F2L to OLL. maybe you should fill the last slot or the last two slots by yourself so you learn also the recognizing from f2l to OLL. :)

PS, where do you find that volunteers? they work 10 hours a day for you can you send me one:p?

I dount any of ur friends will go mad and volunteer for 10 hours to help u train:p

When learning my PLLs I often thought it would be nice if I could find people to help me, but I thought there was NO way I'd find anyone that patient. So I decided to write a computer program to randomly pick PLLs and generate cube scrambles that made those PLLs appear on the cube.

Plus I added in cube rotates and AUFs to make recognition more difficult and realistic. Finally, I permuted the scrambles by using pre and post scramble cube rotates, so the user wouldn't start to recognize the PLL case by the scramble.

At the same time, I told my friend Brunson about the idea and he liked it. So he wrote a version that includes both a random PLL *and* a random OLL. After a while, he ported it to a web application and posted a link to it in this forum somewhere. It's still up, and it still works. It's also much more patient than even 2 very good friends. :p Give it a try:
