At about 5:30, I thought I twisted a corner, so I just handscrambled, solved, and scrambled again.

If anybody could help me reconstruct, or analyze, that would be greatly appreciated. I tried with an avg5 in the Critique thread, but I was basically brushed off. Someone essentially said that I was 'fast enough.' Needless to say I didn't get any help there. Thanks so much!

There are two things that I see from the first three solves(don't have time to watch them all, I'll do it later).

First, you turn faster than you look ahead, and that's causing some pretty big pauses in your solves. Try and turn slower to try and get smoother solves.

Second, your LL recognition doesn't seem to be that good(again, could be the cause of the fast turning). IMO turning a bit slower for the fourth slot and OLL to have seamless LL execution is much better than turning quickly and having pauses between each step.

This is almost exactly what I was about to post.

Also, I think your cross could do with a little work in terms of efficiency. You also seem to solve it often in a way that isn't too conducive to lookahead for the first pair. Your 2nd and 3rd f2l slots seem ok though, so it's probably just a case of practising cross + 1st pair and fourth pair + OLL. You should learn 2-sided recog for PLL, the J and A perm recognition on solve 3 + 4 I think were really bad :s

I noticed that sometimes you had a pause before AUFing after PLL. When I recognize PLL, I also note the AUF and append extra U turns to the algorithm in my mind. Perhaps you too and I just imagined some artifact from the solves in the video.
