I dont understand why I'm not faster

I turn the cube fast as possible and yet i get 40 seconds i pause a lot and know 4look LL and then i turn slow and get 40 seconds!? Whats happening? :confused:

Also a video of you solving would be cool so we could determine what you think of as "as fast as possible". The problem is most certainly the pauses but it would help anyway.

And your efficiency won't be the best.

No. Not at his speed. I'm sub 15 and I only know like half. I was sub 25 when I started full PLL. I can average 16 with 4LLL, so it's his cross and f2l.

Full OLL is helpful at any speed. Yes, he doesn't need full OLL but it would still be helpful.

I honestlywouldn't reccomend learning OLL at that speed either.

OP: I learnt full pll to cross the 30 sec barrier, not the 40s one. Make your cross efficiently, use more inspection, that's it.
