I recently purchased a Shengshou 4x4 v5 from The Cubicle, and it was good when I received it. However, after disassembling and lubing it, I can reassemble it, but the slice turns only work on 2 axis (one of them is just stuck - it moves for a tiny bit each way, but only like 10 degrees). I'm really out of ideas and I have no idea what could cause this, the screws are fine. Also, does it matter where to put the larger center piece in relation to the little holders on the core?
Thank you very much!

If you still have trouble, just watch some parts (maybe the first 5 mins or so) of this video to see if you're doing anything differently that could affect how the puzzle is moving. I think it's how you assembled the piece with the extra plastic (the center piece with the 2 smaller inner pieces already stuck in it) on it so you only need to watch the beginning of the video to see if anything is different in your cube.

It sounds like you put the center pieces in the wrong spot on the core. The big one (with 2 built in smaller internals) should be put with all the hooks facing it. So if you stand the core up with all the hooks facing up, the top arm is where the big piece should go.

This is exactly what I did, and it worked. For anyone with this problem in the future, follow this description. Thank you to everyone who helped!
