I was just watching some youtube videos about SpeedCubeShop.com and 3 of the 10 I watched did NOT recommend ordering from this site. Three or so years ago this was the main site to order from. Before seeing these videos I actually ordered from his site, should I be worried?

Hell no Camron has never really got that many complains about poor shipping so I would recomend buying from there

There's also this issue between another cuber on Youtube and Cameron. If there's not a good reason not to buy from the shop, then by all means, go for it. The prices aren't low, but they aren't extremely high either. I hear the customer service is quite good, and the shipping is reasonable.

The person was crazybadcuber if that matters.

I find it very interesting the CrazyBadCuber cuber says in one of his comments "I personally think it's expensive and other places are way cheaper with free shipping. I mean, how many speedcubeshop unboxings have I got on my page right? That's why I don't buy from them." He has never had a reason to purchase from me because he was always a tester until the whole issue with him and the CamCuber ZhanChi arose. I try to list my products at the best price that I can to be competitive and some stores are cheaper on the front-end of things but once shipping charges are applied they even out or are more. All that I know is that I do my best to stay up on doing orders and maintaining my store. 99.999999999% of the time an order is shipped well within a day of purchase, it isn't unusual for an order to be shipped within one hour of purchase either :)

what happened between CBC and cam?

It is a really really long story but in a nutshell, he wanted to know how to make the CamCuber ZhanChi because he felt that he had to know so that he could justify continuing to support it. After a lot of thought, I decided that I didn't want to tell him for my own reasons and as a result he took down any of his videos that involve the cube and went on his reviews for my store and said that he no longer recommends the store. There is a lot more to it but essentially that is what happened.

Sorry for so many posts but I looked through this thread and it seems like quite a few people are looking for ShengShou cubes. SpeedCubeShop has ShengShou 2x2x2-8x8x8 in stock and ready to ship :)

CBC wasn't being very nice at all, basically. And he still isn't. Mean words about Cam (and some other people as well) in his comments.

Where to buy Speedstacks Timer?

Hey everybody! Whoohoo, marking my first thread on the forum!

I've been cubing over the past 4-ish years, and all through my journey, I've owned this awesome Speedstacks glow in the dark timer (stolen from a stacking set) that has served me wonderfully.

But just in the past couple months, there's been some serious issues with it. The reset button stopped working for a long time, preventing me from starting a new solve. So I bought a new battery and replaced the old one.

It worked for a little while, then the reset button conked out on me again. I put the timer to the side, and used Prisma Puzzle Timer for awhile, but sometimes it's nice to just sit in the living room without a computer in front of you, and just time yourself.

So I whipped out the trusty old timer again, and kept spamming the reset button, sometimes just reefing on it, and finally it started working! :)

But another month went by, and to my utmost dismay, I think it has finally met its end. The timer has to be turned on and off very quickly, simply to just recognize the hands coming off the sensors.

***NOW I come to my question. I'm looking for a replacement timer. I've done a bit of researching, and seen that QJ timers aren't exactly too quality, so I've decided to stick with trusty Speedstacks timers. Now, the problem is I can't find a store that offers the timers at a reasonable price, and has reasonable shipping.

Does anyone have any suggestions or know where I can get a good Speedstacks timer for cheaper + cheap shipping?

Thanks so much!

Is there something WITH a computer connection that could be say.. less than 40$ with shipping? I saw something for 40 that was a speedstacks but the shipping was something crazy like 25$
