Hello! Cuber from Australia

Thanks, i find the block building roux probably the hardest thing. However it's not so much that it takes me alot of moves to make the blocks. It's just i'm not sure i'm doing the blocks correctly. A question about cubes like 4x4 and 5x5 though(do you have to say 4x4x4 or 5x5x5?). Can you use roux in your solves?

You could do reduction then to roux and no you don't have to say 4x4x4 unless you have a cuboid, then you would say 1x3x3 or something like that. Maybe you could learn k4 for 4x4 and im not sure if it could be implemented for 5x5.

I use Meyer for 4x4 but I just use redux into roux for 5x5.

Wow kewl thx everyone i just found out that i can actually go to the Canberra summer cubing comp which i'm super excited for! :)

Yayyy another Canberra cuber :3

Btw, to answer your question about 4x4 and 5x5, Meyer would be your best bet for 4x4 (Learn reduction first if you haven't allready). And for 5x5, Check out reduction with freeslice pairing.

Awesome hey Bryson are there many australian cubers? Cubing in general doesn't seem like a very popular thing. I mean i've seen alot of people just look it up on youtube learn how to solve the 3x3 then not touch cubing for the rest of their lives.

Kewl but i'm new to this competition thing. What will the competitions be like? Is there an entry fee? Will i have to pay before hand? Where are the details to these competitions? Thanks
