I'm British but I am studying in Zeeland, any cubers near me??? I need someone who cubes because there is absolutely nobody at my uni that can solve it... I average 25 on 3x3 and enjoy doing feet solving and 4x4 OH (this doesn't mean I'm any good at them )

Hmm, had a quick look where you are and google says it would take about 9 hours to get to where you are on public transport... Maybe if this thread gets more responses we could organise a belgium/south netherlands meet?

Hi, I think we met at Weston-super-Mare. I live in Eindhoven. Unfortunately, you don't live in the most accessible place in the Netherlands. To get any major city by train, you'll have at least one change. If you want to meet Dutch cubers, I'd recommend you to go to the Dutch Open in Voorburg near The Hague on 3-4 November. The problem is that it will take you about 2.5-3 hours to get there. Not because it's far away, but more because Vlissingen is in such an awkard location with regards to railways.

I'm not sure if I'm able to make it, but if I am, I'm happy to pick you up somewhere on the route, like Dordrecht, but you may have to sort out a place to stay overnight for yourself.

O yeah, I'm also happy to travel to Zeeland to meet up if I have time.

Edit: I see that in the time it took me to write this, 3 people have beaten me to it.

I'm in Eindhoven a lot and I used to live there.. now I live in stupid Belgium but near the border. Maybe you can come to the Hasselt Open in the third weekend of November.

She's right. Without a car, Hasselt is a nightmare to get to on the train from The Netherlands. On the plus side, it starts in the afternoon so if you can make it to Eindhoven, I can give you a lift. But anyway, I think it's full. You can still register and you'll be on the waiting list.
