Why am I so slow?

I have been cubing for about a month and the best I could get with the beginners method was 1:29 because of a lucky solve. My average is about 2:10. I don't seem to be getting any faster. What can I do?

I have learned Fridrich F2L (intuitivly), 2-look OLL and I am learning 2-look PLL but my times are still around 1:50

Record a video for us. If you practice an hour or two a day you get sub 1:00 within a week, imo. Your F2L is probably what is slowing you down. Maybe watch some tutorials for that, or, like I said a second ago, record a video of a few solves and we can help critique it for you.

As said previously, It will most likely be your F2l, it's mainly always F2l. Just keep drilling it and soon you will be below a minute.

If you have a lot of lock ups while solving, get a faster cube, otherwise tell us your average for a cross, F2L and LL and we'll telll you where to improve and how.

Relax, times always come with practice.

When I do the headlights alg on 2-look OLL (R2 D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R') this happens:

I took it apart and put it back together and it still happens?

When I cycle 3 edges anti clockwise in 2-look PLL (R U' R U R U R U' R' U R2), the top left layer is swapped with the bottom right layer ????

For the last case (E-perm) may I suggest: R2 U R' d' (R U R' U')x3 U F U' F2. The one shown on that site was always difficult for me to learn, but the sexy move (R U R' U') in this alg made the case easy for me.

EDIT: Also, it swaps the corners horizontally rather than vertically as shown on the website.
