1. Make sure you are connected to the internet.

2. Look for big I or a fox on a cute blue ball on the place on your computer with all those little icons. Logo may vary.

3. Apply slight pressure to the left side on the clicky thing you hold in your hand while on the computer. Apply the pressure 2 times.

4. You should see a big screen and your icons disappear. Don't panic! You will see a white rectangle. Apply pressure while the little pointy thing is above it. Now you see a blinky black line.

5. You should have a little board in front of your computer with things on it, with the letters. Apply pressure appropriately, and type google.com .

6. Apply pressure to the button that reads Enter or Return. You should now see some blue words and GOOGLE really big.

7. The blinky black line is back!! Don't panic, it is friendly. Maybe you are like: "0mg plx i wana lern zb cus its prety fast mayb betr than beginer algorihmz". No problem. Find the letter board in front of your computer, and apply pressure appropriately to spell "zb method" in the rectangle. Don't put the little 2 lines in though.

8. Good job! I am so proud of you! Now, do you see that little thingy that says Google Search? Yes, yes! Apply pressure on the thing you hold in your hand, to the left side, while the little pointy thing is on Google Search.

9. Omg!! Blue hurts my eyes! Never fear, if you encounter this problem, 3D glasses may be used. Click on the big blue words.

10. WARRR YES!!! We have it!

This technique may be applied to obtain any knowledge, including Fridrich, or any other algorithms you may need to learn. Just type what you want to find in step 7 instead of "zb method".

Why is this sticky? I'm sure those posting in the thread find it amusing, but it's really not very funny and certainly not informative. The elitist attitude in this forum gets tiresome.

And you don't think the repititive threads aren't tiresome? Would you rather have just one thread like this one or 50 more threads on "Petrus vs. Fridrich" and/or "How to get sub-20"?

You obviously haven't read some of the posts made by people who don't know how to use google. The only thing that gets tiresome is having to read them.

If using google is all that is required to learn cubing methods, why does this forum exist? I think many of you believe that it is easy to find information on methods like Fridrich and Petrus on your own. I spent hours and hours trying to figure it out and was finally able to, but it was not easy.

The information is difficult for a beginner to decipher in my opinion. Many of the reference pages are very terse and just list algorithms. Sure, it's all obvious to me now, but it wasn't when I started. I think some of you need to be reminded that you were beginners at some point also.

The forum is for discussion, not holding newbies' hands. If they find a link but have trouble understanding it then we can help, but we don't need 50 threads going "hai! gimme link plz!"

Then can we remind the beginners that when we were like them, we actually used Google, and, say, spent a month on our own understanding the subtleties of M2?

Haha good times, good times.

You can try using "Cube google" too. Custom search by Sebastien Felix:

http://www.google.com/coop/cse?cx=016833797707245983616:6o_f2otwty0

(it's quite a long url, may be I should use tinyurl)
I think he can expand the number of cubing sites searched as well, as some new good sites are always popping up from time to time.

linkmaster03, I love your post.

May I use it on a french popular Rubik's Cube forum ?
After having quoted you, and after having translated it, of course.

blgentry, give a man a fish, ...
