Cube and solve method you'd recommend

ZZ with Niklas+sune LL and a type B 3x3

Type B? Really? I heard its terrible.
Anyway, I forgot to suggest a cube. I'd recommend an alpha v or f2 for an intermediate cuber( 40-45s). Alpha v if you like crispy cubes and f2 if you like smooth cubes. But if you want to go straight into the best cubes, you can't go wrong with the guhong or guhong v2.

then you're wrong. there's no reason for a beginner or intermediate cuber to not use a zhanchi as soon as they learn how to solve a cube.

I disagree. Using a Zhanchi makes them rely on it's corner cutting too much and they'll have huge problems when they get to larger cubes. I started out with a Rubik's storebought. Just my opinion.

Oh god not the cuber not the cube argument again. I am more with gypl on this. Although my fingertricks took a while to be good, my turning has become rather accurate and gentle which I think helps me turn without many pauses. Perhaps if I relied on corner cutting I couldn't turn so accurate because bad habits. Also I'd be more tempted to turn fast instead of turn smooth.

I wasn't expecting so many replies hahaha :D anyhow it's seems that this roux method is pretty popular so I'll definitely check it out and the zz intrigues me since it relies on few algorithms. You have all been saying stuff about blockbuilding, pardon my ignorance but I'm not sure what you mean when you say that xD
and for the cube I kind of want to try a zhanchi.
By the way this is so helpful! Thanks :D

Block building is the 'art' of building 'blocks' of solved pieces in the first two layers. I.e the first steps of Petrus and Roux. Block building is very intuative and can be considered to be quite hard, both roux and petrus start of by building blocks. To get fast at these methods heavily relies on how efficiently you can build these blocks. ZZ and Petrus also rely on being able to identify 'good' and 'bad edges' something that can be difficult to get your head around. I would certainly try and look into all these methods and see how you feel as if you are good at them you certainly will get very fast with them, but if you are not, you will probably start to get very irritated quickly. CFOP these days gets branded as a bit of a n00b method, becuase of its lack of intuition, and completely brain dead Last layer. This can said to be true, but don't let people saying that that put you off. CFOP can be a intuative as you wish, you can integrate Block building into your cross, and start influencing edge orientation during your F2l. There is so much information avaliable for CFOP, and there is always something new to learn, so make sure you do not rule it out becuase of all the method hipsters say so.

Watch what you say, Feliks Zemdegs uses CFOP, 5.66 seconds. Is that doable with any of the other "big 4" methods?

Watch what you say, and how you say it, as it may affect how badly your ignorance proceeds to bite you back. If you're going to use an ironic tone at least get your facts right please.

In short: eeeeeyup. Plus singles don't really matter...

And one thing to add to the topic. Explore. Seriously what's the rush in getting fast? Explore everything and expand quickly your cubing knowledge and getting faster becomes natural, and with a strong foundation you will know how to iron out problems as they come by yourself.
